Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-03-23
This Privacy Policy describes how Finanful ("Company", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service").
Information We Collect
- Account data such as email address, name, and authentication identifiers.
- Preferences such as watchlists and other settings.
- Communications you send to us (for example, support requests or contact form messages).
- Usage and device data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and request logs.
How We Use Information
- Provide, secure, and maintain the Service.
- Authenticate users and manage sessions.
- Operate features like watchlists and dashboards.
- Respond to support requests and improve the Service.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.
Sharing
We share information with service providers that help us operate the Service, such as hosting providers and authentication vendors (for example, Supabase and OAuth providers). We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure authentication flows. We also use local storage or in-memory caching to speed up the Service and remember preferences. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies without your consent.
Data Retention
We retain account data and watchlist preferences for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we may retain certain records for up to 90 days for fraud prevention and legal compliance purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Session tokens expire automatically. Client-side cached data is stored for short periods and can be cleared in your browser settings.
Children's Privacy
The Service is a general-audience product and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete that information.
Your Choices and Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your account information by contacting us at team@finanful.com. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.
California residents may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, and may request deletion by emailing team@finanful.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request". We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.
Users in the EEA and UK may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability for personal data, subject to applicable law. To exercise these rights, contact us at team@finanful.com.
Legal Bases and International Transfers
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data based on contract performance, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. Because we operate in the United States, personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards where required by law.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards such as encryption in transit and secure authentication flows. No method of transmission is 100 percent secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the Service before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the updated policy's effective date constitutes acceptance of the changes.
